24/10/23 – Siskin has found a home!

Siskin is a Cocker Spaniel aged about 7 or 8 who joined All Animals Rescue & Rehome after she was picked up as a stray. She is in Essex.
She arrived in a very neglected condition with a heavily matted coat that had to be shaved off on arrival. When she went to the vets to be neutered she had to have 19 teeth removed. She has clearly not been looked after properly previously and it is evident she has had puppies in the past.
Poor little Siskin initially just wanted to run and hide, but she has learnt to love people now. Once she likes you, she follows you everywhere and just loves to be cuddled. She is a beautiful lady and will make a very rewarding addition to her new home.
Siskin is housetrained and can be left for short periods. She is a very sociable little lady so could live with other dogs or would be equally happy as the only dog with lots of human company. She would prefer an adult-only home and would be an ideal companion for someone that is home a lot and wants a little shadow to share their days with.
She walks well on the lead and travels very well in the car. She is very responsive, quick to learn and easy to train. She loves home comforts and a cuddle, and likes to sleep on the bed! Siskin will do literally anything for food, and she has just started playing with a ball on walks. She is learning to be a dog!
