19/6/23 – Taffy has found a home!

Taffy is a lovely, white and black Jack Russell Terrier who has come into the care of Dumfries & Galloway Canine Rescue as, sadly, his owner’s ill health meant she was unable to care for him any longer. Taffy is looking for an easy life of good food, walks, company and sofa cuddles. Do you fit the bill?

No-one who comes into contact with Taffy believes he’s 12 years old and nearly blind as he certainly has a zest for life and lets nothing hold him back. He’s an easy dog to care for: he’s clean, enjoys a good walk, is not a fussy eater and, basically a joy to have around.

Taffy has had life his own way for a very long time and, because of this, he doesn’t like being told what to do. On occasions, careful handling will be needed. Ideally, he would go to a home with a secure garden due to his eyesight. He would like someone around most of the time, but he would be happy to be left for an hour or so. Even at his age and eyesight problems, he’d still give a cat a run for its money, so no cats at home please.
