Tara, a 9 year old German Shepherd Cross, arrived at Dogs Trust Merseyside with a terrier who has since been rehomed. It’s Tara’s turn now, but she’s looking for a home as an only dog.
Beautiful Tara adores people and is very friendly. She needs a home with someone at home most of the time. She can live with children over the age of 8 but needs to be your only pet.
Tara is a little on the chunky side but has steadily been losing a few pounds and just has a few more to go. Tara is very loving and fantastic with people, but can become anxious about close interactions with other dogs. Once settled at her new home, walks with calm dogs who aren’t too pushy would be nice for Tara, helping to boost her confidence around others.
Tara is a very sweet and affectionate lass who prefers a fuss to a playtime, but she enjoys her walks and relaxing in her favourite spot on the sofa next to her people.
