Please help Karina by sharing this page!

Karina is a sweet, 9-year-old Crossbreed girl who’s in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk through Safe Rescue.

Karina is currently living with several other dogs but it’s thought she’d prefer to be an only dog as she wants a restful retirement home and, more importantly, all available fuss!

She is respectful of confident cats and could live with one or two with careful introductions.

Karina is good with older, dog savvy children, as she loves human attention but she really needs a peaceful home. Visiting children would be fine for her but an adult-only home would be best.

Karina has obviously suffered at the hands of men in the past and, although she’s happy and loving most of the time, there are occasions when something will trigger a latent fear and she will sink down and cower. Men in the household will need to give her extra time and space to win her trust. This is easily done with patience and treats. It’s just something to be aware of.

Karina is fit and absolutely loves her walks. She’s great on the lead and fine with other dogs. Adventures in nature with her people are one of her favourite things and it’s joyous to see her so happy!

Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Karina’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook.
