Sweet Sadie is a 12 year old, brown, small Crossbreed who would love to find her forever home but, initially, a temporary foster carer would be great too. In the meantime, Sadie is being well cared for by Alfie’s Dog Rescue in Neath, South Wales. Her owner has gone into hospital and unfortunately won’t be coming home. She is all alone in the world. There are no next of kin to take her in and the only people she knows are unable to help as they have cats and Sadie doesn’t do cats, at all.

Sadie is desperate to find a home with someone who is able to spend time with her where she can be allowed to settle from the trauma of her loss. Sadie likes gentle walks and needs exercise as she is overweight, so her diet needs monitoring.

It’s unknown how she is around children and she can be unsure about other dogs as she has always been an only dog. It’s a definite “no” to living with cats. Sadie is showing signs of separation anxiety but that could just be that she’s unsettled due to the circumstances that she’s in.

Sadie is currently overweight and, following a vet check-up, she has been identified as having a medium grade heart murmur and some dental issues.
