‘OLD DOG OF THE WEEK’ FEATURES NEW PHOTOS AND A FRESH WRITE-UP FOR AN OVERLOOKED OLDIE THAT HAS BEEN ON OUR WEBSITE FOR A WHILE BUT IS STILL WAITING FOR A NEW HOME.

Betsie Good Girl is an 8-year-old, petite Rottweiler (24kg) living life almost to the full at Love Underdogs in Waltham Abbey, Essex. All she needs is a home and people of her own to make her life complete.

Betsie is choosy about which dogs she’ll be friends with but there are some which live up to her standards and she’ll be her fun-loving self around.

She had an unhappy past before being rescued, chained up outside a public shelter in Romania. At Love Underdogs she knows she’s safe and can show her goofy side.
Betsie wants a home without any resident children. She’s overly keen on food of any sort and assumes it all belongs to her. Dog owners with experience of foody dogs will understand the need for vigilance and a sense of humour about this. She also wouldn’t want to live with cats because, well, cats!

Despite her past, Betsie is a typically loving Rottie.

Betsie would do best with owners used to the breed or a similar protector-type breed. She needs introducing nicely to strangers or strange dogs. Once she knows they’re not a baddy and her people approve of them, it’s all love and fun.

You can watch another nice video of Betsie HERE.
