Blake is an absolutely adorable boy, that had been in a shelter for years when Love 4 Dogs found him and decided to help him. He is approximately 10 years old, and a frail old boy that so deserves to spend his last years in a warm comfortable home. He is currently being fostered in Malvern in Worcsestershire.
Blake is medium sized and weighs 17kgs and still gaining much needed weight. He is the sweetest boy and just loves to be fussed, rolling on his back for tummy rubs, and when you stop, he will paw you asking for more ! “Don’t stop” he pleads !
He does get tired quickly and has arthritis in his spine for which he takes pain relief. Although he walks really nicely on the lead, he cannot walk too far, because of the arthritis, and is more than happy just pottering around the garden, so a garden is a must so that he can sunbathe and explore at his own speed.
Blake is slightly incontinent and wears a belly band for this which works really well, and it doesn’t bother him at all. He would love an adult only home with no children or other dogs, and so if you’d love a best friend that doesn’t want to go on long walks, but just wants lots of love and cuddles, Blake is your boy.
