If there was ever a dog that epitomised the meaning of resilience then Errol is that dog. His story is one of both sadness and triumph and Dogs4Rescue in Manchester are now hoping he can finally live the life he deserves in a wonderful forever home.

Errol is a medium sized cross breed boy aged 11yrs. He arrived at the rescue with four broken legs, undergoing numerous surgeries to rebuild him, and whilst one of his legs sadly could not be saved, his other three serve him well and he has adapted brilliantly.

Errol is a true bundle of love and joy. He doesn’t dwell on the past, but instead relishes every moment of his new life, enjoying love and cuddles and lighting up the room with his personality. He loves his toys and interacting with his humans. He is truly amazing !

Described as low energy, Errol is good with dogs that he meets on his walks, but it is felt that he needs to be the only dog in the house, where he can get all of the love and attention to himself.

He thrives on human company and would really like an adult only home where someone is around for most of the day. Perhaps someone that works from home needs a new co – worker, a retired person/couple maybe, or a household where someone is always at home. Cats or small furries, aren’t Errol’s thing, so a pet-free home is best.

Errol loves to lay quietly in his bed sometimes, and appreciates a space he can call his own and have a doze. He also appreciates the rug in front of the fire ! In fact wherever you are, Errol would like to be there too.

Errol  is house-trained and non-destructive and is just looking for the kindness and affection he deserves. His dark days are now behind him and the lucky person who decides to welcome Errol into their life will have made the best decision ever. Could that be you ?
