Beautiful boy Floki is a Blue Merle Border Collie of 8 years (20kg). He’s in a foster home in Bordon, Hampshire, through Romanian Rescue Appeal while he waits for an adult-only retirement home.
Floki gets on OK with other dogs but he does try to organise them, which they don’t always like, and it’s thought he’d do better in a home with no other pets.
Cats are a definite no. They definitely can’t be herded, no matter what he tries.
Like most Collies, Floki is super intelligent and likes to be busy, preferably ball wrangling out on some grass.
He’ll make a wonderful companion for one or two humans who love walks in nature as much as he does.
Floki is a little shy of strangers, especially in the home. He warms up gradually and makes friends when he’s sure they’re not baddies.
Likewise, he takes a while to trust but when he does, he’s very affectionate.
