Loki is an adorable Parsons Jack Russell Terrier currently under the care of Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare in East Sussex. He is 10yrs old, with typical terrier traits and looking for his perfect forever home.

Loki would like a quiet and calm adult only home, or could possibly live with older teens, but no young ones, either resident or visiting. Poor Loki has suffered a burn injury 3 yrs ago to his back which is still sensitive. He can show he is uncomfortable when his back is touched, so understanding of subtle body language is needed. Loki needs a home that is committed to his ongoing recovery, which includes physio and pain relief so he can live his best possible life .

Loki is still active for his age and loves his little walks, preferring short 20 minute sniff walks to long hikes. He loves to play, but has previously ingested a toy, for which he needed surgery and still has a tender tummy, so needs to be supervised when he has access to playthings.
He has a prey drive so would like a home with no cats or small furries. With regards to other dogs, he is fine with small fluffy females, but not keen on large black un neutered males. Due to his medical history he needs to be the only dog in the home, and requires a secure garden.

He is fine being left alone, settling well, and travels like a good boy in the car. He is a little star just looking for a quiet and calm home where he can feel secure and continue to get better.
Loki has Metacam and Gabapentin prescribed by the vet and this will need to be continued by his new humans.
