Roger is the sweetest Staffordshire Bull Terrier under the care of National Animal Welfare Trust in West Berkshire. He is 12 yrs old and looking for either a long term foster home, or even better, a forever adopter.
Roger is a little man with a big heart ! He would love a sofa that he could snuggle down on and if you were snuggled up next to him, he would be overjoyed.
They call him the explorer as he loves finding out about the world around him, be it smells or sounds, or new people. He loves his toys and knows how to have fun. He maybe getting on in years but he still has so much life in him and is ready to give his love and energy to some lucky person.
Roger could potentially live with another senior dog that he could share good times with and could possibly live with sensible and respectful older children. He can also live with cats …what a boy !
If you need to pop out for a while, Roger is also fine being left on his own for a bit. Roger does have a few age related health issues, which include limited sight and hearing. He has begun medication for a degenerative condition which can be discussed with the rescue, but at this time, none of these things stop Roger enjoying life to the full.
This little chap is just the best boy and whoever can offer him a space in their home will be very lucky indeed.
