Fluffy, soppy Sunny is a Fox Terrier X Jack Russell Terrier of 13 years, in the care of Rescue Remedies based near Gatwick on the Surrey/West Sussex border. He spends some time in respite foster care nearby so he can really relax.

Sunny is an affectionate boy who loves some lap time. He wants to be the only pet in an adult only home, getting all available fuss!

Sunny has blossomed in foster care. He used to be very reactive with passing dogs and traffic. He used to worry at his lead a lot, too.

With reassurance and many strategically timed pieces of sausage from his carer, he has massively improved and he really enjoys his walks now.

Sunny is good in the car and impeccably well behaved in the home. He takes treats gently and doesn’t pester when his human is eating.

He’s nervous about having things done to him and wears a muzzle at the vets to be on the safe side. His coat does require regular trimming, as do his claws and this has been done under sedation before, bless him! He does feel better for it though.

Sunny had lived with his family for 11 years, from puppyhood but they emigrated and were unable to take him with them.

He finds it confusing when he has to go back into kennels and is always overjoyed to be back in foster care. Having his own, permanent home and one or two people to call his own will make Sunny a very happy boy!
