Celandine Wood Animal Rescue in Wrexham, Wales, stepped in to save this beautiful boy from being put to sleep because they knew Giovanni (Gio to his friends) deserved the chance to live his best life, and that he still has so much love to give.
Gio is a gorgeous 9 yr old Bull Terrier who has been given a second chance, and now he is patiently waiting for the day he can finally enjoy the home comforts, kindness and unconditional love he so truly deserves.
Gio used to live with another dog and for some reason after living happily together, they started not to get on. However, after arriving at Celandine they are happy to be together, but because of their history it is felt that Gio should live as an only dog in his forever home
Gio is an absolute sweetheart and has quickly become a firm favourite with volunteers. He’s incredibly affectionate, loves a fuss, and is always happy to make new friends, be it a volunteer he’s known for weeks or someone he’s only just met, Gio is always such a gentle and friendly soul that takes everything in his stride.
Gio is looking for a home where he is the only dog and there are no cats or young children. He could live with dog savvy older children aged 14yrs plus. He would love nothing more than being part of the action and included in fun trips out, and then come home for a nice nap and lots of attention.
After everything he’s been through, Giovanni has shown volunteers nothing but kindness and affection. He now deserves a wonderful new home where he can be spoilt and loved forever.
