Mighty Millie is a gorgeous little Pomeranian Cross and is approximately 7 – 8 years old. She was saved from the Chinese meat market and is one of the lucky ones to come the UK to find her forever home. Sadly, there are no animal welfare laws in China so no dog is ever safe there, which is why the dogs are sent overseas to be rehomed, to make sure they are safe and loved for life.

All Animals Rescue and Rehome in Essex expected Millie to be quite bewildered when she arrived in foster care with them. She had a 14 hour flight followed by a few hours’ drive, though all she wanted was to have a snuggle and it’s very easy to fall in love with this adorable little lady. She took everything in her stride and even joined a pack walk the day after she arrived and loved every minute.

Millie is a beautiful little lady and will make a very rewarding addition to her new family. Her little world was turned upside down on arrival but, despite that, she just wanted to be loved. She has settled well into a routine and loves pack life.

Once Millie likes you, she follows you everywhere and just loves to be cuddled. She is very typical of the breed, extremely loving, loyal and bonds very quickly to her people. She will do anything for food; she literally dances around when food is around! Millie loves to run off-lead in the secure field; she always comes back for food, but loves to zoom around. Indoors, however, she is pretty much a couch potato.

Millie is quite the sociable little lady and is fine to live with other dogs as long as they are happy for her to be in charge! She could also live with cats and maybe children aged 13+. Millie doesn’t have much experience of children so would be best suited to an adult-only home where her humans can dote on her. Millie is an inquisitive and responsive little lady, quick to learn and easy to train, especially where food is involved!

Millie is house-trained, walks well on the lead when she trusts you, is not destructive and can be left for short periods. She also travels well in the car. She loves to be left snoozing on the bed and is often snuggled up with the cat. She is a very social little lady outside the home, but probably she would prefer to be the only dog in the home as she is very bossy.

Millie loves her home comforts and a cuddle. She likes to sleep on the bed with you if she is allowed, basically she is a little snuggle bug. She will sleep downstairs on the sofa or in her own bed if she isn’t allowed in the bedroom. She is just an all-round pleasure to have; she’s adorable inside and out. Whoever adopts this little lady will be very lucky indeed as she really has the most amazing character.
Millie is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and flea/worm treated.
