Jax’s elderly owner died. Jax waited in kennels. He found a home. Working hours changed and he was extremely stressed alone. Back in kennels, Jax needs a home with company all day and minimal car travel. A big ask, but big Jax is worth it.

Oliver is a lovely old boy who is blind but manages perfectly well. He can see the world in sounds and especially smells! He might need a bit more consideration than fully sighted dogs but he’ll make up for it in extra love and devotion!

Beautiful girl Petra has a sweet and gentle nature. She gets on well with other dogs and would like to have a doggy pal to live with. She’s shy at first but loves a fuss and cuddle once she knows you. She’s so lovely, she’s even polite to cats!

Max (Islay Dog Rescue, kennelled Ayrshire)

If you love a big dog, take a look at Max, a gorgeous mix of GSD x Great Dane. He’s a real favourite with the volunteers at the rescue and he is full of life and loves long walks. Could you offer Max an active home?

Gentle, soppy Zeebo is a super friendly boy who could live with a calm dog, older children, and a hamster! He’s very sad right now as he has returned to Freshfields as he didn’t get on with his new family’s cat. He needs a calm, caring home and regular gentle walks.
