14/1/20 – Tiny has found a home!
Just look at that gorgeous, intelligent face. Tiny is a 9-year-old German Shepherd boy, a handsome chap who is looking for a GSD-experienced owner. Tiny is being rehomed by RSPCA Macclesfield SE Cheshire & Buxton Branch but is kennelled at RSPCA Chesterfield in Derbyshire.
Tiny hasn’t had the best of times. The conditions he was being kept in were unacceptable — an outside pen with just a couple of planks above for shelter. He was found cold, wet, very matted and unhappy. Poor old Tiny.
He is very friendly boy but is anxious and can easily become excitable. Bless him, this old boy still has spirit, and it sounds like it is a good job that he has managed to retain his spirit. He is super clever and loves his food so he should respond well to reward based training and kindness. He also likes to carry toys in his mouth.
Tiny’s coat has been de-matted — it was really bad around his back end in particular — and his ears were infected. Tiny’s new owner will need to monitor his ears for signs of infection and clean them on a regular basis. He has now been neutered.
Tiny is looking for a home where any children are older (13 years plus), with no other pets. He can become worried and frustrated around other dogs and will need some training and management in this respect. But saying that, the kennel environment is not the norm for any dog, so he will, no doubt, be much happier once settled in a comfortable, loving home.
Could you offer Tiny the wonderful, GSD-loving home he so deserves?
