Lola (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Loving Lola is an 8yr old Golden Labrador that has a sad past which we so need to put behind her. Originating from Romania, Lola was once a family pet, but when the family split up, Lola was thrown out onto the streets and thankfully found by a local dog rescuer who liaised with Safe Rescue who then brought her to the UK.

Lola is now safe in a foster home in Norwich and needs to find a lovely forever home where she can be given the love and comforts she deserves.

Lola is a typical Labrador. “Happy go Lucky”, easy going and a joy to have around. She loves everybody she meets and wants to be everyones friend. She would prefer to be the only dog in the house, but could live with another similar sized dog if needed. She chases cats, so her new home needs to be cat free, but loves children, so any aged 5+ would be fine.

Lola loves her toys and so a garden would be ideal where she can play and explore. She is still very active for her age and is quite strong on the lead, so this needs to be taken into account by her new owner(s)

Lola tested positive for heart worm and has received the initial treatment, and now just requires monthly Advocate or equivalent. Safe Rescue are happy to provide this, going forward

Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Lola’s page here.
