Buddy is a sensitive little lady and can be worried by loud noises and too much going on around her. She is therefore looking for a calm and quiet forever home, as the only dog, with any children being older and respectful of her needs.
Although she’d like to be the only dog in the home, she is a friendly and social lady out on walks so would enjoy doggy friends to meet up with. Buddy tends to feel most comfortable around calmer, male, older dogs, though she can still be a little nervous when meeting others. Because of this, she would do best with patient and understanding new owners who are willing to give her the time and space she needs to settle in. Allowing Buddy to adjust at her own pace—both in a new home and when meeting new dogs—will help her feel safe and build her confidence.
She is active for her age and enjoys going out, whether on walks or in the car. She may cry a little at times but is generally used to car journeys. Buddy is such a sweet and friendly girl who is just waiting for her forever family to come and take her home.
