Brandy (Dunroamin K9 Rescue, South Yorkshire)
1 June 2017 – We just had this sad update: Unfortunately, we lost Brandy very suddenly, he was out walking with his foster dad early Sunday morning when he collapsed. It was his heart and the vets could not save Brandy so he has made his journey over the rainbow bridge bless him, he’s very much missed.

1/9/16 – Sad news, Kasha had to be put to sleep as she was losing the battle against cancer which had spread quickly into her back legs and hip.

Timber (Cefni German Shepherd Rescue, Nottinghamshire)

Max (Dogs Trust West Calder, Scotland)
3/12/15 – Sad news today from Dogs Trust: ‘Sorry to bring you the sad news that Max our 11 year old Kelpie crossbreed has passed away. He was with his favourite carer, our Assistant Manager Kerrie. He had an illness but left in true fashion of avoiding a vet visit and had a morning walk and play with his best friend Biscuit. We are all devastated about this.’ Sleep well, old boy.

24/11/15 We have had sad news from Kama’s Cave. Brett had cancer has had to be put to sleep :(

Tilly (RSPCA Danaher, Essex)
13/9/15 We’re very sad to hear that Tilly passed away suddenly in her kennel overnight. Thankfully it seems that she simply went to sleep and didn’t wake up, so it would have been peaceful. Sleep tight beautiful Tilly.

Syrus (All Dogs Matter, London)
24/4/15 – Syrus sadly became unwell and the decision was made to let him go. He was surrounded by love at the end.

Roxy (National Animal Welfare Trust, Berkshire)
31/3/15 – We have just has the sad news that Roxy collapsed and was diagnosed with a ruptured abdomen. Sadly she was too ill to save and she passed away peacefully in the arms of the NAWT volunteers. Run free Roxy.

Diva (Milnthorpe Animal Rescue, Cumbria)
30/4/15 Very sadly, Diva has had to be put to sleep as she had cancer.

4/12/14 – We have sadly been informed that beautiful Betty has gone to the bridge. She was much loved.

Blossoming Bilko, aka Bill (Oldies Club, fostered Southport, Merseyside)
2.11.2014 Bilko, affectionately known as Bill, has had to be put to sleep following the diagnosis of a brain tumour. He died knowing what real love was about, thanks to his wonderful foster carer.

15.8.2014 We are devasted to hear that poor Tizer has passed away. Sleep tight lovely boy!

Buddy (Kerry Greyhounds, fostered Norfolk)
2/9/14 – We just had this sad update from Kerry Greyhounds: ‘Poor Buddy had a home offer but before he could go he became unwell and was diagnosed with Hepatic Lymphoma last week. He deteriorated very quickly and had to see a vet on Sunday as an emergency. Unfortunately the vet recommended that Buddy was euthanased, it was a very sad day for us all.’
