Tiggy (1 Dog At A Time Rescue UK, Buckinghamshire)
1/7/16 We are so sad to hear that poor Tiggy was nearer the end of her life than was thought and she has now passed away. The saddest thing is that some lovely people had offered Tiggy a home and were due to pick her up today. :( Sleep tight, Tiggy.

12/2/2018 – Sadly Toffee had tumours in her stomach and chest and had to be put to sleep. Run free beautiful girl. :(

Brandy (Dunroamin K9 Rescue, South Yorkshire)
1 June 2017 – We just had this sad update: Unfortunately, we lost Brandy very suddenly, he was out walking with his foster dad early Sunday morning when he collapsed. It was his heart and the vets could not save Brandy so he has made his journey over the rainbow bridge bless him, he’s very much missed.

1/9/16 – Sad news, Kasha had to be put to sleep as she was losing the battle against cancer which had spread quickly into her back legs and hip.

Sandy (Jerry Green Dog Rescue, South Lincs)
1/11/15 – Sad news that dear little Sandy has passed away. He was very much loved in his foster home and our thoughts are with his foster family.

Amy (Halfway Home Dog Rescue, Notts)
22/10/2015 Amy went to the vets today to check her eye and teeth – very sadly, they said that she wouldn’t survive the operation that she needed and recommended to let her go while she was with them. So we are devastated to say that Amy has been put to sleep this morning.

Max (Dogs Trust West Calder, Scotland)
3/12/15 – Sad news today from Dogs Trust: ‘Sorry to bring you the sad news that Max our 11 year old Kelpie crossbreed has passed away. He was with his favourite carer, our Assistant Manager Kerrie. He had an illness but left in true fashion of avoiding a vet visit and had a morning walk and play with his best friend Biscuit. We are all devastated about this.’ Sleep well, old boy.

Roxy (National Animal Welfare Trust, Berkshire)
31/3/15 – We have just has the sad news that Roxy collapsed and was diagnosed with a ruptured abdomen. Sadly she was too ill to save and she passed away peacefully in the arms of the NAWT volunteers. Run free Roxy.

Nelson (Safe Rescue, fostered Norwich)
13/4/15 Safe Rescue tell us the sad news that Nelson has passed away. He was loved very much by his fosterer, who did everything possible for him, and he will be very missed.

Sweet Little Roman (Oldies Club, fostered North East)
3/4/15 Roman became very poorly and has had to be put to sleep. Our thoughts are with his foster carer who is so very upset as she loved little Roman dearly.

3/2/15 – Sad news – Cassie’s health has deteriorated and the decision was made to put her to sleep.

Hey there, Charlie girl! (Oldies Club, fostered Hampshire)
1/4/15 Very sadly, poor Charlie became very poorly and had to be put to sleep. Our thoughts are with Charlie’s lovely foster carer :(

Kez (RSPCA Leybourne, Kent)
3/2/15 Sadly, Kez’s health started to deteriorate and she went downhill quite quickly. RSPCA Leybourne had to say goodbye to her. Rest in peace now Kez.

Blossoming Bilko, aka Bill (Oldies Club, fostered Southport, Merseyside)
2.11.2014 Bilko, affectionately known as Bill, has had to be put to sleep following the diagnosis of a brain tumour. He died knowing what real love was about, thanks to his wonderful foster carer.

Brilliant Bullseye (Oldies Club, fostered West Midlands)
6/10/14 Extremely sad news: Bullseye was suddenly taken ill just as he was about to go up for rehoming. He was found to have a blockage and sadly died when recovering from surgery to remove it. Everyone at Oldies Club is devasted as Bullseye was such a lovely boy.
