Ben is a funny looking, leggy pup who’s having a fun time in foster care in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk through Safe Rescue.

He’s a medium sized crossbreed who appears to share some genes with Bambi! Ben is almost a year old. He is the funniest dog you could meet and from a distance he really looks and moves like a fawn.

Ben was hit by a car when he was very young and was paralyzed for a while. An operation on his spine restored most of his mobility but he still walks with a strange gait. This doesn’t stop him being a typical mischievous pup and he plays for hours with his fellow foster dogs. Then promptly zonks out, preferably while snuggling into you!

He will never manage great long hikes but loves a splurge out on the beach or over the fields for half an hour at a time. Ben would love a home with another dog to play with but is not trustworthy with cats. Well, they if they will run away temptingly!

He’s great with children.
