19/1/10 Poor little Sparky has sadly passed away due to sudden ill health. Sleep tight sweet boy.

—————–
Sparky is a lovely little 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier who sadly needs to find himself a new home due to his owner having a nasty fall and being in hospital. Poor Sparky must wonder what’s happening to him. He does look a little bewildered doesn’t he.

Sparky is being cared for by his owner’s family in Buntingford, Hertfordshire, but he needs to find a new permanent home as soon as possible.

Sparky is deaf and his eyesight is poor. He’s a very undemanding little chap though, who just wants a potter in the garden and a warm fire to snooze by. He was rescued by his owner from a very hard life so it is so sad that they must now be parted. Poor Sparky.

Sparky would be best living as an only dog or with another quiet, small dog. Please can yours be Sparky’s new home?

Prospective adopters will be homechecked by a dog rescue volunteer. Sparky can go back to his current carers if the rehoming doesn’t work out for any reason.

Oldies Club suggests you read our article Questions for Adopters which is written to help people who are planning to adopt a dog from a private owner rather than a rescue.
