16/7/12 – Poor Bailey has sadly passed away :(
——————————————-

Update 11/7/12 – We have just heard the sad news that 16 year old Bailey has been returned to the RSCPA Leeds and Wakefield as he could not cope with been on his own. The poor lad is now nearly seventeen years old and is just desperate for a quiet forever home. He doesn’t need much exersise, but enjoys a gentle stroll. He loves to play with his toys, but is ideally looking for an owner who is home all the time. He may suit an elderly or disabled owner as he just craves being around people and is desperate to be someone’s companion.

He would need to be the only pet in his new home, but he promises to be your best ever friend, and will make an excellent addition to any fireplace rug!

Bailey is now staying in a temporary foster but this is just for the next couple of weeks. He will then have to come back to kennels and the RSPCA is just not sure he can cope with that. They hope they can find him as a permanent foster home, so should any medical problems arise he can come to the vet at the branch (in Tingley, Wakefield) and they will cover the cost of treatment (sadly they can’t cover the cost if he is taken to a different vet).

They just so want to get this lad a new home for the rest of his days. Baiey is a little stiff on his back legs but is not on any medication. He is just so confused to be back in rescue and it seems so unfair he should spend whatever time he has left in kennels. Can you take this loving, sweet boy into your heart and home?

Adorable 16 year old Bailey should be curled up by a warm fire, not stuck in kennels at his age! He is a very handsome crossbreed gentleman who is being cared for at RSCPA Leeds and Wakefield until he finds his forever home.

Bailey may be 16, but no one seems to have told told him that! He still very much enjoys his walks, is great on his lead and likes a gentle game of fetch. His favourite pass time of all, however, is having cuddles and fuss with all the staff and volunteers at the rescue.

Poor old Bailey really needs a comfy bed and a person all his own to give him the cuddles he craves. He is looking for a quieter retirement home where he won’t be left alone for long periods of time. He will need a home where he is the only pet, and with no young children, as he really deserves some peace and quiet at his age.

Bailey is such a friendly boy and is so lost in kennels. The RSPCA will rehome out of their area for the right home providing everyone is willing to travel to West Yorkshire to meet him.
