15/8/14 – Sad news from Eastern German Shepherd Rescue ‘Unfortunately we lost Shadow to an internal bleed due to a tumour last week.’ Sleep tight old boy.
—————————————————–

Sadly, poor Shadow has had 10 years of no socialisation, and he is now  looking for an experienced long-term foster home. Eastern German Shepherd Rescue are hoping that someone will offer this adorable chap some happiness in his later years, as he has missed out on so much so far.

Shadow hasn’t  shown any aggression but at 45 kg, he can be like a bull in a china shop! He has never had the chance of living inside, but is very clean in his kennel. Although Shadow seems fine with other dogs, he would prefer to be an only pet and couldn’t cope with very young children.

At long last, Shadow is getting the chance to be affectionate and starting to play. He enjoys short walks and is always so pleased to see you. Due to some medical conditions, Eastern German Shepherd Rescue are looking for a long term foster home for this smashing chap, just so that he can appreciate finally what it is like to live with some home comforts.

Shadow recently paid a visit to the groomer and was very well behaved and is now looking even more handsome. He is on a new homeopathic treatment for his furunculosis and his feet are looking a lot better. He is still on ear drops and antibiotics but is feeling much happier now.
