6/12/17 – Gorgeous big Conan has found his new home!

If you like your dogs big and stocky, then you’re going to love Conan! He’s a very large crossbreed weighing 51kgs, and he’s currently in the care of the RSPCA Essex South, Southend & District

Conan is 9 years old and could be a mix of different large breeds, possibly Great Dane or Mastiff. But whatever his heritage, he is a very sweet and docile boy.

Conan knows his basic commands and he’ll do anything for a treat! He’s a big soppy boy and the rescue staff say he’s a pleasure to spend time with.

Despite his age and size, and the fact that he hasn’t had much exercise of late, Conan is still a pretty agile fellow so would enjoy getting out for some regular walks. He’s pretty chilled too though, so could be left home alone for reasonable periods of time.

Conan originally came into care with his son, Junior, and companion, Sadie. He has been an exceptional mentor to his son and very sensitive and gentle in the company of them both. He may be able to share his new home with another laid back dog, but he will need somewhere cat-free. Conan would suit either an adult-only home or one where any children are 12 years or over.

Conan will be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated and he will come with 6 weeks free pet insurance.
