07/09/17 – Forrest has been adopted! Yay!
Please say hello to handsome Forrest! He is a lovely Lurcher crossbreed lad who is around 7 years old. He has a beautiful smiley face which goes with his very sunny nature. He is looking for a special someone to come and take him home with them. Until then, he is in the care of Safe Rescue and being fostered in Bloxwich.
This lovely chap has not had the best life up until now and is missing a paw and half a tail as a result. This doesn’t seem to bother or hamper him in any way as he has his own way of hopping and getting around without any problems at all.
Forrest is a little timid around strangers and takes a little time to get to know you, but once he does, you will have gained a loyal and very affectionate friend. Just one look into his gorgeous soft eyes and lovely face is enough to pull at your heartstrings as he has such a sweet and endearing face.
He is a gentle soul who would fit into most households. He would make an ideal family pet as he is fine with children. He gets on well with other dogs too and could happily live with another dog in the home. He takes no notice of cats either, so may be ok with a dog savvy cat.
Forrest loves going for walks and walks beautifully on the lead, so would enjoy a couple of nice walks everyday.
This is what his foster Mum has to say about happy Forrest: “He is so full of happiness all the time. He is a beautiful boy who has completely stolen my heart and is sure he will do the same to everyone else he meets as he’s very special. He is brilliant on the lead and will make a great companion for walks. He deserves nothing better than the absolute best, he’s just that wonderful!”
Forrest is in good health for his age with no known health issues. He may be missing a paw and half a tail, but please don’t let that put you off as he is a fun loving lad with a heart of gold.
