8/12/18 – Ben has gone to his new home!
———————

Quite the regal gent, this is beautiful Ben and he is a gorgeous Golden Retriever who is 8 years old. He came to All Animals Rescue and Rehome in Essex when he was found straying and left unclaimed. He was a very worried boy when he arrived but now he is an absolute gent.

Ben is a gentle giant who is mother hen to any tiny puppies. He is good with other dogs, but it’s believed he would be happier as the only dog in the home. He could be homed either where there is a resident female dog or where he would have plenty of contact with dogs.

Ben walks beautifully on the lead and is house-trained. Most of the day, he spends snoozing on the sofa, but he loves his walks and his food. Ben will do anything for food and can’t give you his paws quick enough. He is a little bit on the slim side and so needs feeding up.

Ben loves to chase birds and small furries and, although he is an older lad, he comes alive when he has toys or a ball. He is not destructive at all and is quite content being left for short periods. Ben is a very undemanding and can be a bit of a lazy boy who would suit an older person or couple.

This lovely old chap would make a fantastic addition to any family as he is really laid-back and undemanding, but equally a lovely, cuddly and loyal companion. Ben is neutered, chipped and flea/worm treated.
