18/8/18 – Forbes has found a home
Forbes just loves to go out on adventures and have lots of exercise. Although he is 9 years old, he has plenty of energy, so he is looking for an active, adult-only home as he can get a bit boisterous at times. He could possibly live with teenagers who like to play and are used to bouncy, energetic dogs.
Forbes is a gorgeous, liver and white, neutered Springer Spaniel who came into the care of Jerry Green Dog Rescue in North Yorkshire as a stray. He has been socialising with dogs out and about but does get very anxious around them, so he would benefit from a pet-free home where he can continue to walk out with dogs and gradually make friends.
As Forbes came in as a stray, it’s not known if he is house-trained but he is generally clean in the kennel. He loves playing with tennis balls and with his toys, especially if they squeak. He is always happy carrying them around. Forbes would thrive in an active home where he will be taken on lots of outings. Ideally, a home where he is not being left for too long.
