3/9/18 – Little Meg has found a home!

Affectionate Meg is 10 year old Jack Russell Terrier girl in the care of RSPCA Westmorland Branch in Kendal, Cumbria. She could perhaps live with a confident cat after careful introductions as she’s lived with one before. She hasn’t lived with other dogs and it’s thought she’d be happiest as an only dog. Dog savvy children from age 12 should be fine for her as she’s a fun-loving lady!

Meg is a happy little girl. She absolutely loves running around the rescue’s play area. Unfortunately, she gets out of breath quite quickly because she’s very overweight at the moment. Meg currently weighs 12.5kg and she should be a lot, lot less than that. She now needs an owner who can provide her with a healthy diet and a regular exercise regime to help her build up her fitness levels and stamina.

She likes to be groomed, is good in the house and is happy when she’s out travelling. She’s also fine to be left for short periods. Meg really is a sweet little girl in every way. She walks nicely on the lead and has been fine about walking past the other dogs at the rescue. She’s very bright too. She knows some of her basic commands and will come to you when she’s called. What a Good Girl!
