30/8/18 – Gorgeous Perry has found his new home!

Gorgeous Perry is an 8 year old GSD who had a terrible life before being rescued. Along with his mum Dina (also on our website), he was kept chained up outside and was beaten and neglected. UK German Shepherd Dog Rescue saved him when he was abandoned by his ‘owner’. They now want to see him loved and happy in a human family where he will never have to worry about being mistreated again.
Although Perry came into rescue with his mum, they are being rehomed separately as he is a little pushy with her when he wants a fuss. He has learnt that not all humans will hurt him and is slowly learning to trust. He is, however, still nervous when outside his comfort zone. He loves being fussed over now and he likes to be the only one getting the fuss, so would do best as an only dog. He is so starved for human kindness that he wants it all to himself now! Who could blame him?
Perry shows no aggression and would rather hide than face his fears. He would be fine with children aged 7 or older in his new home. He is fine with other dogs on his walks and it is unknown how he would react to cats.
Because he hasn’t lived in a home before, Perry will need some training, but he is clever and wants to please you so he should pick it up quickly. He is good in the car.
This beautiful boy desperately need someone who can show him that not all humans are bad and who can make up for his sad past with plenty of cuddles and love.
