6/9/19 – Maya has found a home
Pretty Maya is an 8 to 9 year old small, Crossbreed girl. She was rescued from Romania and is currently in foster care in Lancashire, through Save Anca’s Dogs & Cats. She would love to belong to an active retired person or couple.
Maya loves taking her people out for adventures. She walks nicely on the lead and is a lively, joyful companion. She enjoys her walks but likes her nap time too!
Maya is an only dog presently, she has been in foster with other dogs previously and was fine with them. However she can be anxious around bigger dogs that she doesn’t know so would have to be introduced first to see if the dogs get on.
Maya loves lots of cuddles and treats. She’s nervous in busy, noisy crowds and doesn’t enjoy travelling in the car at all. Maya is also a little scared around small children but she loves getting fuss from older children.
Although a little dog she is a very good guard dog and will bark at strangers who visit the home. To warn them not to be baddies! Potential adopters will need to either have a quiet home without many comings and goings or they have to be happy to work with her on this, e.g. by arming all visitors with treats! She’s worth the extra effort because she’s so sweet and loving.
Maya is fully vaccinated, spayed, micro chipped, healthy and cute! She’ll brighten up your life with profound adorableness!
