Pretty Penny is a 9 year old, female, brindle Lurcher who is being looked after at the Stray Dogs Sanctuary kennels in Devon. Penny was found as a stray some time ago and was taken in by another rescue. While there, she was attacked by another dog and, as a result, lost a toe. Not surprisingly, the attack made her nervous of other dogs. Penny found a lovely home with an elderly man whom she adored. Very sadly, he recently passed away and poor Penny yet again finds herself in rescue kennels.

Penny is such an affectionate girl and would love to find a new home with someone who will give her the love and care she needs. Penny is looking for a quiet home and is used to having her owner around for most of the time. She would be happy with two walks of 30 minutes a day, but can walk for longer than that. Penny also travels well.

Penny can still be nervous with some other dogs, but it’s believed she could live with another dog with careful introduction. She cannot live with cats and it’s not known how she reacts to children. She has no known medical issues and has been spayed.
