30/9/20 – Alpen has had many people clamouring to adopt her and she is now rehomed!

Alpen is an absolutely adorable, blue roan 9-year-old Cocker Spaniel who came to All Animals Rescue and Rehome in Essex when she was left unclaimed in the pound. She can live with dogs, cats and children from 13 years old.
Alpen is the happiest little Spaniel ever and is always very pleased to see you. She walks beautifully on the lead and is house trained. Most of the day she spends snoozing on the sofa however she loves her food and walks.
Alpen is absolutely ball obsessed. To her, ball is life and she would happily spend all day chasing it. She will bark with excitement when she sees it and will only stop when it’s in her mouth or she is running to get it!
Alpen is a gentle little soul. She loves other dogs so could easily live with one or more. She is very much a little shadow, following her foster Mum everywhere and loves to snuggle up on the bed at night time. She is not destructive at all and is quite content being left for short periods. She is an undemanding little lady, but still very active. She would run her little legs off if she could. This lovely girl would make a fantastic addition to any family as she is really laid back and a lovely cuddly, loyal companion.
Alpen is spayed, microchipped and flea/worm treated. She had a lump that the rescue originally thought was a tumour but it turned out to be a hernia which, after 3 surgeries, is now fully healed. She also arrived with a cough that didn’t seem to relent. AARR suspected some sort of heart issue however the vet has carried out all the scans, bloods and checks and cannot find anything wrong with her. She has been on steroids recently and this seems to have worked really well as the cough is barely noticeable anymore, so potential adopters will need to be aware she may have ongoing medical needs.
