This gorgeous, gentle giant is called Bailey and he’s 10 -11 years old and currently living in a foster home in Basingstoke, Hampshire, provided by Stray2Me where he is waiting for someone to offer him the chance of a peaceful and loving retirement.

Bailey is a medium-large Crossbreed, most likely a LabradorxColliexGSD mix. His ideal weight should be approximately 23 kgs but he is currently underweight at 18kg. He is 50cm in height and 75cm in length. Bailey was saved from a Romanian kill shelter over a year ago and he is now enjoying life in foster care to help him enjoy life in a proper home.

Bailey is content with every bit of attention and love he receives, for which he waves his tail. He is gentle and calm, with occasional nervousness. Bailey is house-trained. He is happy with his own company when being left for short periods and overnight, but loves human company and relishes every bit of fuss you can give him, rubbing against you like a cat. Like most older dogs, he needs his own space where he knows he’s safe.

Bailey was used to sharing with other dogs in the shelter and can be cat-tested if necessary. He would probably be better without children in the home so that he can relax without any disturbance or worries.

Bailey is fully vaccinated and neutered. He is in the care of Stray2Me, a U.K. Registered Charity, with full U.K. support and back-up for life.
