15/7/20 – Boi found a wonderful foster home as a result of this appeal and he is now being adopted by his foster carer!

This is an urgent appeal for poor old Boi who hasn’t had much luck of late. He has had to move to kennels, in Shepton Mallet, temporarily and we are hoping he will quickly find either a new temporary foster home, or a foster home with a view to adoption. Kennels are no place for any older dog and Boi truly loves his home comforts.

Boi is a 13-year-old Lurcher who needs a pet-free, child-free home. He’s a lovely lad who just wants a quiet place to call his own where he won’t have to compete with other dogs for space or attention and where there are no children. He loves to relax on the sofa and is happy to be left on his own for 3 or 4 hours, so could live with a part-time worker.

Boi is fine with other dogs when out and about, and he’ll have a game of chase if they’re up for it, but he does like to have his own space at home. He can’t live with cats.

Boi enjoys his two walks a day and is well behaved both on and off the lead. He loves meeting people and is such a handsome boy that he gets lots of admiring glances. He is also very good in the car and enjoys an outing.

Boi is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has been flea/worm treated. He has a bit of arthritis in his hips and one front wrist, for which he is taking long-term medication.

Boi desperately needs a comfortable home, with a sofa to relax on, a lurcher-secure garden to explore, and someone to love him. Could you help poor old Boi in his hour of need?
