5/2/21 – Max has been rehomed! We are so pleased for him!

Max is a gorgeous 12-year-old Staffy boy who is at Teckels in Gloucestershire and the poor lad is really missing his home comforts.

Max is at Teckels due to his owner’s ill health and he is in need of a new loving home. He’s a friendly boy who loves people and tries to say hello to everyone, bless him!

He enjoys attention and loves a good neck and bum scratch. Teckels imagine that this affectionate lad will appreciate being able to snooze on the sofa in his new home. He prefers to have company most of the day, so can’t be left for long periods of time.

Max is still spritely and he enjoys walks, but he can’t manage very long walks. He walks reasonably well on the lead. He needs a home without too many stairs as he has arthritis in his back legs for which he is on pain relief. His medication just goes onto his dinner which he wolfs down!

Max isn’t used to being around other dogs so needs a pet-free home. He would like a quiet household so children will need to be over 14 years of age.

Max has recently had a couple of skin tags removed and is healing well. Teckels are hoping that this lovely older boy will find a retirement home soon as Max really isn’t keen on kennels. He just wants someone to love and spend his days with. Could that be you?

If so, carefully read the information about how to adopt, on the Teckels website before contacting them.
