This handsome chap is radiant Red and he came into the care of All Animals Rescue & Rehome in Essex when his owners were unable to care for him anymore. When he arrived, he was in pretty shocking condition: he was covered in scars, really scared and had never lived inside, poor, confused boy.

Red is a Whippet Cross and is 7 years old. He has had a rough life but, despite this, he has the most wonderful gentle nature and just loves a snuggle on the sofa with you! The perfect home for Red would be a single person with no other dogs. While he is happy to meet and play with dogs outside, he would prefer to have his home to himself and, given his past, who can blame him?

Red is a gentle soul and an absolute darling with not a bad bone in his body. He is not destructive and is quite content being left for short periods. He is a very undemanding and lazy boy who would suit an older person or couple. Red is quite the regal gent and he walks beautifully on the lead. He is house-trained and spends most of the day snoozing on the sofa. However, he loves his food and walks, and even more he loves his cuddles!

Red initially was very fearful of the outside world. He didn’t seem to have had any socialisation outside the house and was very wary of new people. Happily, all that is now behind him and he is very social indeed! Red absolutely loves to run and chase a ball and it’s lovely to watch him enjoying himself after years of just existing.

Red is castrated, chipped and flea/worm treated. He has also had a dental.
