31/8/2021 Cute duo, Sandy and Chico, have gone to their new home together and are looking forward to a lovely life there.

So sadly, this adorably cute duo came into the care of The Little Rescue in Hertfordshire a few months ago as cruelty cases. Their fur was matted and full of fleas and they were so thin that in another few days Chico in particular would have certainly died.

Sandy and Chico are a firmly bonded pair and must be rehomed together. Sandy is a female Shih Tzu and white Chico is a male Maltese Terrier. They are both 7 years old and neutered. Fast forward to today and they are both at full weight, happy and full of energy. They love everybody, other dogs and enjoy their walks and snuggles in the evening.

Sandy and Chico are both super special little dogs which the Rescue fought hard to save. Therefore, the conditions of adoption for these little beauties are slightly different: these dogs will not be split up and a condition of adoption is that the adopter will remain in touch with The Little Rescue with regular updates for the rest of their lives.

Note: Please only apply if you live within 20 miles of Bishops Stortford in Hertfordshire. The Rescue does not home in London and a full home-check will be done with proof of address. The Adoption fee is £450 for both dogs.
