31/1/2023 Beautiful Bette has gone to her new home.

The staff at Leicester Animal Aid say that Bette is a wonderful girl, loving and cuddly with a big heart and lots of room in it for her new owners.
Bette is a 7 year old Greyhound who has never lived in a home before, so she will need a bit of time and patience to help build up her confidence and learn about the big wide world. She can be quite wary of new things, especially some sounds like kettles and microwaves … who knew human places could have so many noises?
Bette is an elegant lady with an easy-going attitude. She loves her home comforts and all she wants is a warm, soft place to lay her head and she will be the happiest dog around. Like all sighthounds, a sofa to share with you would be her idea of canine heaven, not forgetting tasty food.
Bette likes other dogs, particularly Sighthounds, so she could potentially share he home with a compatible canine. She really enjoys her walks but is equally as happy to have a good long snooze. She also love her food and can get a bit excited if it is left lying around, so make sure you put it away if you think she can reach it.
Bette would be comfortable living with children aged 10 and above but not very young children as she is still a bit worried about them at the moment. She would need someone with plenty of time to help continue building her confidence and socialisation skills, but also with someone who doesn’t mind passing the day giving doggy fuss and cuddles to a senior lady; her kennel mums say that she truly does deserve it.
