Molly and Dolly are two adorable American Cocker Spaniel sisters who came into the care of Starfish Dog Rescue from their breeder. They have been assessed and are now ready to find their forever home. Meanwhile, they are enjoying home comforts in foster care in Gloucestershire.

Molly and Dolly are around 7 years old and are living in a family home with adult children, other dogs and cats. They would like to find a home together as they are very bonded and very sweet together and it would be upsetting to split them up.

Molly and Dolly are the sweetest, little, gentle souls. They have no malice in them with other dogs, people and cats. Dolly, the one with the blacker face, is the more timid and was so scared when she arrived but has changed so much already. It’s difficult to put into words how lovely they are. They have a sweet nature and are very easy, laid-back dogs who want lots of love and affection. Please see their video here.

They have not lived in a house before being fostered, but they have adapted very well. They are sleeping in the utility room at night in their bed together and are clean overnight. Molly and Dolly have recently been taken out on the lead and Molly took to it like a duck to water. Little Dolly was a bit more timid but had loads of sniffs. Bearing in mind this is probably their first time out for a proper walk, they did amazing as you can see here.

Molly and Dolly are going to need an adult-only, experienced rescue home as they would be too nervous to be in a busy family home and with people who want loving, affection dogs. They are not particularly high energy dogs. They could live with other dogs and cats with no problems and would be fine with visiting children. They have travelled in the van in a crate with no problems.

Both Molly and Dolly have now been spayed, vaccinated, flea/wormed and chipped. Polly was suffering with an ear infection which she is having treatment for.

You can watch more videos of them here.
