25/4/23 – Bubu has found a home!
Bubu is a gorgeous 7-year-old Mixed Breed boy who is with Forgotten Souls Rescue, fostered in Leicester. Ideally the rescue would like to rehome him within 3 hours’ drive of Leicester, but for the perfect home they may consider further. His recent adoption fell through when he and the resident dog did not get on.
Bubu is a really sweet boy who only has three legs. He was knocked over by a car when in Romania and because he didn’t receive medical attention at the time it was too late to save the leg. He gets around just fine on his three legs though, thank you very much!
Sweet Bubu likes a fuss and he makes cute noises when he wants you to fuss him. He’s a sensitive boy who bonds with his carers.
Bubu would be best as the only dog or with a female dog he gets in great with the lady dogs in the foster home, and he ignores other dogs on walks. He is not keen on cats but does not chase them. He would be OK with visiting sensible children.
Bubu enjoys relaxing in comfy beds or on the sofa. He travels well and he’s a good eater — he tucked into his sunday dinner with gusto and he loves a treat.
He is toilet trained and he’s used to being on a lead. He enjoys short walks each day. Bubu is neutered and has no current medical issues, but it would be nice if his new family would consider taking him to hydrotherapy in the future.
