Dear Dida is a medium-sized, bearded Collie-type Cross. Safe Rescue met her during a trip to a private shelter in Romania last November and couldn’t resist bringing her back to the U.K. She’s now in a foster home in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, and waiting to go to her forever home.

Dida’s passport states her to be 13 years old but she could be a little younger. She is a sweet and calm girl. Sadly, she was matted to the skin on arrival in the U.K. and her long hair had to be chopped off. She will need regular grooming and maintenance from here on in.

Dida is mixing well with other dogs but would equally be happy as an only dog. She’s not been cat tested. She would like a fairly quiet home environment with no children under 10 years old.

Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Dida’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook
