18/6/23 – Lovely Emily has gone off to her new home. Have a wonderful time there, Emily!

Emily is a beautiful girl, estimated to be around 12-13 years of age, who is being rehomed by RABS Dog Rescue, and is in foster near Market Rasen, Lincolnshire.
It is obvious that Emily has had a hard life — she was rescued from a shelter in Romania and arrived in the UK in a very poor state — but that hasn’t dimished her love of life. She’s a gorgeous girl who really deserves to find a loving home. Emily is on the smaller side of medium, weighing about 15kg.
Emily would love to have a person all to herself, someone that she can follow around and make sure she is always in the right place for any tickles, strokes and affection. Emily needs a home without cats and dogs. She is currently in foster with several dogs, but she can be selective with them, and so in order for Emily to have her happiest life going forward, she wants to be your only dog. She is best separated off when there is food around as memories of her tough past will never leave her, poor old girl.
Emily is a very loving dog and she is particularly fond of men. She enjoys pottering around the garden, so a home with a safe garden for her to enjoy would be perfect.
Emily has an old break to her lower jaw that never healed properly, but she manages really well. You will need to take care of her though as it can cause her some discomfort, but she’s a tough old cookie, bless her. She is also fairly deaf, and her eyes are showing their age too, but she sees OK. Emily still enjoys walks, but they need to be nice and slow, gentle walks, where she can take her time to sniff at things that interest her.
