Gorgeous Luna is a 9 year old Golden Retriever lady looking for her perfect home with the help of the Irish Retriever Rescue. She is currently in a foster home in Wolverhampton with 2 other Goldies who aren’t really too keen on Luna’s company, so she’d love to find her forever home soon.

Luna could be the sweetest girl in the right environment. She is a typical loving and affectionate Retriever who just loves to be loved. Luna would be happy living as an only dog with her adopters at home at least part of the day for company, though she is happy to be left for a few hours.

Luna needs an adult-only home because of her resource guarding. She walks nicely on the lead and can walk a good distance. She has been fine meeting other dogs on walks, travels well in the car and settles overnight.

Luna does suffer from age-related arthritis and came into Rescue care with medication to help with this. She has had a vet check to make sure her current medication really is the best to suit her needs and the vet has ‘tweaked’ it to make her even more comfortable. All future medication will be covered by the charity.
