19/02/2024 – Martin has found a forever foster home!

Shy, old gentleman Martin is a Crossbreed boy of 12 years who is looking for his first ever proper home! He’s living with 4 other dogs in Ayr, Scotland and is in the care of Saving & Rehoming Strays. One of those dogs is his sister Syla, who is also looking for a home.
Once Martin knows you he’s very affectionate. He is shy of strangers and needs to be able to get used to people in his own time. He wants an adult-only home where nothing is expected of him, apart from being lovely, which he always is!
Martin was in a shelter for 8 years before coming to Saving and Rehoming Strays and has been with them for 4. That means he’s never lived indoors with nice soft furnishings and proper doggy lifestyle.
He’s unsure of walking on the lead and his adopters will need to help him get used to it. Obviously, he needs a secure and good sized garden for snuffling and sunbathing.
Martin is a typical oldies in that his favourite thing to do is sleep! A choice of comfy beds and a nicely predictable, peaceful lifestyle will be just his cup of tea…
…not forgetting plenty of fuss!
