This gorgeous pair of Cocker Spaniel sisters are called Pluto and Jet who are looking for a new home together due to family relocation. They have been together since puppies, mostly kennelled outside, and are now enjoying the comforts of an adult foster home with other dogs and a cat in Gloucestershire provided by Starfish Rescue where you can watch some lovely videos of them.

Pluto!

Pluto and Jet will be 7 years old in December 2023. Pluto is the quieter one and not so confident. She has a very sweet nature like her sister, but is a lot more unsure. She also has infected ears though not as bad as Jet. She was so good being examined at the vets. Each day brings changes in Pluto, but she is the less confident. Because of Pluto being quiet and more unsure, an adult-only home in the countryside would be the perfect scenario for the girls.

Jet!

Jet has the most beautiful nature and is the more confident one of the two. She is so happy about living indoors on a soft bed in the warm. It’s like she is smiling all the time though her ears are in a bad way; they are severely infected and she must be in great pain. At the Vets while having swabs and being examined she did cry as they are so painful, but afterwards she started looking happy again as if to say it’s okay I know you are trying to help. Jet looks like she is laughing and smiling all the time, bless her.

Both girls are receiving treatment for these infections and the results are awaited and they will be updated soon. They cannot be spayed until they are off the steroids they are on to take the swelling down, so the treatment will work better on their infected ears. They will be spayed before being rehomed.

Pluto and Jet are just two extremely sweet girls with not a bad bone in them. They have lived with children and are lovely with the other dogs. They are not too interested in the cat, although Jet is more interested and Pluto has no interest. They have already been on a group walk with other foster families, 10 dogs in total, and were not fazed at all … perfect little angels.

Pluto and Jet have been clean in the house and have now attended a pub for afternoon coffee and were as good as gold. They will need a rescue experienced home but, if you have had an ex-breeding dog before, you will find these two a breeze compared. They are soaking all the new experiences up like little sponges. They both seem to travel really well and jump into the van with no problems.
