Little cutie Bay is an 11-year-old Shih Tzu who’s in a foster home in Liverpool through Freshfields Animal Rescue. He came into their care through no fault of his own and with his older sister Pixie but, very sadly, she has just recently passed away. He used to really depend on her…

…and is a bit lost in a Pixieless existence so he needs human company and love most of the time.

Once he’s settled in, he can be left for short periods when absolutely necessary.

Bay is still an active boy who loves his walks and some garden time.

He’s not a fan of other dogs and it’s best to walk him in quiet places. He wants to be the only dog at home but could live with a confident cat. Resident children would be considered for him as long as they will respect his nap times. He’s been fine with young children previously being the sweet little lad he is.

Bay is used to going to the groomers and will need to continue his salon sessions. The Shih Tzu coat and claws grow ever so quickly and require professional attention. It’s quite amazing how much his appearance changes with his haircut but he’s still the same loving, funny boy underneath.
