Cindy (RSPCA Millbrook, Surrey)

Cindy is a beautiful, black and white Collie who has come into the care of RSPCA Millbrook in Surrey because her owner sadly passed away. She’s looking for an adult, quiet and experienced home with someone around most of the time.

Cindy is approximately 10 years old and is a very sweet girl, but she can be worried by new people and does rather like things on her terms. Potential adopters will need to meet Cindy a few times, so that she can get to know them and feel comfortable with a new owner/family. She would like a quiet home to enjoy her life with no visiting children.

Being independent, Cindy does not like other dogs invading her space, so she will need to be the only pet in the home and will need to walk in areas where there are no dogs off the lead, as she would not like them coming up to her and pestering her.

As she is a mature lady, Cindy would be happy with pavement walking and having her own private, secure garden to play in. Because she is older, she will need to live in a property on the ground floor as she may struggle with stairs.

Cindy is looking for an experienced and quiet home that does not have a busy household. She will need someone at home during the day, with a gradual build up to being left. She may need a refresher is house-training and car travel training.
