Handsome Harlow is a ginger and white Welsh Collie who is 7 years old and now in the care of Hay Animal Rescue Team. He’s currently in Hay-on-Wye, Powys, Wales, while he hopes that his new home comes along soon
Harlow is an amazing dog! He is obedient, well mannered, easily trained and travels well. He gets on well with other dogs and is very laid-back. Harlow ignores all livestock and can be walked off-lead through sheep without so much as a glance at them.
Harlow has great recall and is content to follow his person round all day if outside working. However, he does not like strangers at all. He is prepared to ignore them and keep a distance, but this means multiple meet and greets are needed to build any sort of relationship.
Harlow needs his new home to be without cats and with no under children under 16. There should be no visitors or his owner should be prepared to separate Harlow from visitors. Harlow would like an active home and likes to to play fetch. Resident dogs would not be an issue but equally not essential.
Harlow is neutered and has no known medical issues.
