Poppy (Safe Rescue, fostered Bucks.)

last updated:

Listed under:

Pretty Poppy is a small Terrier Cross of around 8 years. She’s in a foster home in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire through Safe Rescue. She spent most of her life in a private shelter in Romania, having been rescued from a public one.

Although she was in the shelter during the day at night she would sleep in the house in the rescuers bed with her. Poppy is initially very shy and cautious of strangers but can be won around easily enough with food!

She is a sweet and quiet little girl who would like a settled home environment. She mixes very well with other dogs but could also live happily as an only dog. She would like an adult-only home.

Poppy is only now being taught how to walk on a lead but is already enjoying being out, seeing and smelling all the things she’s been missing out on for so long!

Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Poppy’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook.
